1. Brief and quote
You send the business name, what you sell, who buys it and where the logo will be used first. We ask about anything unclear and send a written quote with the scope, the number of directions, the review rounds and a delivery date. Nothing starts until you accept it.
2. Early directions
We send a few distinct directions, each shown large, small and on one or two real items, such as a storefront sign and a phone home screen. They are meant to be different from each other, so you can react to real choices: a plain wordmark versus one with an icon, a serif versus a sans. You pick one to develop, or ask to combine parts of two.
3. Refinement
We develop the chosen direction and send it for markups. Typical notes at this stage: a slightly heavier weight, a different shade of green, the icon a little smaller next to the name. We run the small-size tests again after each round.
4. Final files
We deliver the final files in every version, and the starter kit if you ordered one. Extra review rounds beyond the quote are priced before we do them.

Working with your vendors
Your first logo often goes straight to a printer, a sign shop or a developer. We can send files to them directly and answer their questions, so nobody has to guess which version to use.
Your information
Business names and plans are often private before launch. What you send is used only for your project. If part of the work goes to a production partner, they work under a confidentiality agreement. See the privacy policy.
